Our operating system
We work deliberately. Every product begins with a practical use, a clear data boundary, and a business model that does not depend on exploiting attention.
We start with a real job someone needs to do, then remove everything that gets in the way.
Products should ask for the least personal information needed to work. More data is a liability, not a trophy.
We explain what a product needs, what it costs, and where its limits are. Clear choices matter more than dark patterns.
We make practical software that can be maintained, supported, and improved without chasing growth for its own sake.
The human part
Everything we make ends up in someone's hands, and that someone matters to us. HyenaPack supports the dignity, safety, and equal rights of all people our work touches, whoever they are, wherever they come from, however they live.
We won't knowingly take on work or ship anything that denies human rights or causes deliberate harm. We choose our partners, practices, and products with that standard in mind. At its best, our work should leave people a little better off than it found them.
When tradeoffs are unavoidable, we'll explain them plainly and protect your choice, your privacy, and your agency.
Research & development
We prototype tools, study emerging technology, and retire experiments that do not deserve to become products. The point is to learn honestly, not to wrap every test in a launch announcement.
